Pavel Strokov – sales department manager

What is your job?

The main tasks of SD (sales department) in our company are searching and acquisition of new cargo traffic for our service. The further development of cooperation with cargo owners in such a way as to make the cargo transportation process completely meet their requirements and current market conditions.

Will the number of maritime transportations of containers increase or will some cargo be transferred to the railroad?

Everything is based on the principle of communicating vessels here, and the distribution of cargo traffic flows will be managed both by traffic capacity and the ratio of speed and cost of cargo transportation to alternative methods of cargo delivery.

What is the most difficult part of your job?

All difficulties are relative. The major thing in our job is to avoid focusing on particular patterns too much but to choose an optimal route for each batch of cargo depending on set tasks and available possibilities to perform them.

What kind of cargo transportation types do you work with the most times?

It is required to work with any type of shipping, each of them has its up-to-date pros and cons which have to be known and considered while choosing the type of transportation for a particular delivery.

What data is required to calculate freight rate?

It is important to understand the requirements of a client to the start and final destination, description and documentation of the cargo, which has to be transported, as well as the priorities regarding time terms and budget for cargo delivery.

How do you find your clients?

Our organization actively develops internet resources so our potential clients could submit an order and get price details via our website. Every year we engage in TransRussia industry-specific exhibitions for the purpose of making new business contacts. Well, and the most valuable things for us are the recommendations from our existing clients through which any new cargo owner can enquire with us.

How do your clients react to high freight rates?

The rate must be reasonable so it would not cause any transportation issues and comply with market conditions. In this case, a client’s reaction will always be adequate.

Dmitry Vaygachev

Dmitry Vaygachev – sea freight department manager

What is your job?

Finding optimal logistics solutions for our clients.

Will the number of maritime transportations of containers increase or some cargo be transferred to the railroad?

Making predictions nowadays is a mug’s game. Our task is to see which way the wind is blowing and be able to offer a client several cargo transportation options. Talking about the railroad, the traffic capacity of this type of transportation is very limited and it won’t be able to cover the demand on cargo transportation in the Russian Federation single-handedly.

What is the most difficult part of your job?

There are no difficulties if you are not afraid to try various options to perform the task. The main thing is big thinking and looking at the tasks via the big picture rather than following close-minded approaches.

What kind of cargo transportation types do you work with the most times?

We work with many contractors. Our mission includes the ability to make the right decisions depending on the client’s requirements and market conditions.

What data is required to calculate freight rate?

The route, type of equipment, info about cargo, client’s requirements.

How do you find your clients?

Our sales department supplies us with them😊

How do your clients react to high freight rates?

I guess that everyone was shocked back then, but these days it’s hard to shake someone up even with a rate of 20.000$/40’ container.

For over 10 years, CredoTrans pushes back the limits of the international cargo transportation industry day after day, backing the result with the fact that their clients can be calm about the integrity and safety of their cargo. We wish this company to keep moving forward and to reach some new heights!
